Meet the founders

Jon Pierro

Owner / Qualified Manager

• Active Duty Police Detective with 11 years experience 
• Education: Master of Science in Criminal Justice & Security 
• Achievements: Involved in numerous varied investigations with emphasis on narcotics, surveillance, traffic enforcement, violent crimes against persons, gangland violence, and sex crimes.
• All types of evidence collection and testifying in court to the results of the investigation and the related evidence.

Originally from Fresno California Mr. Pierro has worked in Fresno County as a police officer for the past 11 years. Prior to that he worked in the Real Estate industry as a loan officer and a real estate agent. 

Having lived for significant periods of time in both Northern and Southern California he has developed a substantial cultural understanding of California demographics and necessities as it relates to private Investigation. His experience in law enforcement along with his education created a significant network of professionals capable of aiding and assisting any investigational effort.

In the private sector, an investigator has the opportunity to work diligently on a clients case with less interruption, and different oversight than a law enforcement officer. These principles fall in line with nation wide movement toward privatization of law enforcement and security.

When the company was established in 2014 the primary focus was surveillance. From there Venatur branched out into the other areas of investigation and security with the endeavor of placing all divisions on a superior performance level. The industry is in a perpetual state of evolution and technological advancement. This creates constant growth potential, and room for improvement. Mr. Pierro aims to navigate Venatur to fulfill its greatest potential.
